The Sala Planter is all about that broad, shallow profile and simple, understated shape, which makes it one of the most versatile pots we stock in the Old Stone range. Sitting low with plenty of planting space across the top, it works just as well as a feature planter, a still water bowl, or simply a nice sculptural piece in the garden, whatever your style.

Like the rest of the Old Stone range, each one is handcrafted from high fired earthenware and finished with that signature sand blasted surface. The result is a natural, matte texture that only gets better with age. Rather than looking worn, the unglazed finish picks up more depth and character the longer it’s outside, which makes it a lovely option for home gardens as well as busier spots around town like cafés and courtyards.

The wide opening is great for low growing plants, succulents, ornamental grasses, water plants, or a small feature tree. The clean, simple shape means it suits pretty much any garden style, whether your place leans modern or more traditional.
